Nowadays cooking is very easy for every household person who loves cooking in our day to day life. If we can try it at home, we can easily make it. Most of the working women afraid to cook. But I believe that after getting this recipe anyone can cook it very easily and quickly.

Rui fish Kalia is the Bengali cuisine. There is very delicious Bengali cuisine in our country, Bangladesh. Rui macher jhol is very famous in Bangladesh and India. It is supposed to be a regular dish in every Bengali house. Let see the recipe of Rui Fish Kalia very easily and quickly. Today I am giving the Kalia recipe with Rui fish. You can make this recipe with any big fish, whatever you want.

Ingredients of Rui Fish Kalia

  • Rui fish – 6 pieces (cut into large size)
  • Ginger paste – 1 teaspoon.
  • Garlic – 1 teaspoon.
  • Turmeric powder – half teaspoon.
  • Chili powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Coriander powder – 3 teaspoons.
  • Cumin powder – 1 teaspoon.
  • Garam masala powder – Half teaspoon.
  • Sliced onion – half a teaspoon.
  • Green chili – 4/5 tsp.
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons.
  • Tomato sliced – 1 tablespoon.
  • Salt – According to taste.
  • Hot water – as required.
  • Mustard oil – Half cup.
  • Sugar – 3 teaspoons.
  • Yogurt – 1 tbsp.
  • Cashew nut paste – 1 tablespoon.

Today, I will give you this Rui Fish Kalia recipe in 2 steps.

Step 1:

In a container, you must thoroughly clean the pieces of Rui fish and drain the water. Then add a little turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt to it. In a frying pan with a bit of oil, the fish should be thoroughly soaked. It cannot be fried too hard. If it will carefully, and the fish will dry out. Once cooked, the fried fish should be raised on a plate and left aside.

Step 2:

In this step, we will go straight to cooking the fish. Put a pan, then add the mustard oil because of the taste of this cooking doubles in the mustard oil. The oil should well heat by burning the Chula. When the oil well heat, lightly fry the onion with sliced onion and give it tomatoes. After cooking for 2 minutes, add salt. After this, add it to ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and powder spices. If needed, you should rinse with a little water so that the spices do not burn. Thus, after cooking the spices for 5 minutes, the yogurt should be added well.

Then add cashew nuts paste to it.  Two minutes later, add warm water and cover it with lids. After 5 minutes, open the lid, pour the fried fish, and cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the water should reduce with hot spices powder and sugar to enhance the taste. Then add coriander leaves and green chili slices on top and serve it.

Tips: At the end of the cooking add some sprinkles of chopped Coriander leaves and enhance the taste of this dish. It will very tasty and mouthwatering after adding this.
