    The largest sea beach in the world Cox’s Bazar in Bangladesh

    It is a town located in the south-east, fishing ports and tourist attractions. It headquartered in Cox’s Bazar district of the Chittagong Division. Cox’s Bazar is well-known for its natural beauty. It has the world’s longest uninterrupted natural sandy beach, which extends up to 122 km. It is the largest marine fishery port in Bangladesh And submarine cable landing stations. Cox’s Bazar known as Panoa, which means yellow flowers. A more ancient name of palanki.

    History

    From the beginning of the ninth century until the Mughal rule in 1616, a large part of Chittagong, including Cox’s Bazar, included Arakan kingdoms. Mughal Emperor Shah Shuja on the way to the mountains, along the Arakan Cox was impressed by the natural beauty and ordered to set up camp here. About a thousand couches of his trip took place at Chakria Dulahazara in Cox’s Bazar. Dulhazara means a thousand couches. Cox seeks to resolve a thousand-year-old conflict between Arakan refugees and local Rakhine people And made substantial progress in the resettlement of refugees. He died in 1799 before the work finished. A market established to memorialize his rehab contribution and it named Cox’s Bazaar. Cox’s Bazar police station first established in 1854 and the municipality formed in 1869.

    Location

    Cox’s Bazar located 152 km south of Chittagong city. Its distance from Dhaka is 414 km. It is the largest tourist place in Bangladesh. It can be accessed by road and sky from the country’s capital, Dhaka.

    A project to set up a railway from Chittagong to Cox’s Bazar is underway. It expected that direct trains would start from Dhaka by 2022.

    Tourist attraction

    Many organizations have established here focusing on the tourism industry. Many hotels built by private companies, besides the lodge built by the Bangladesh Tourism Center, have twenty-five hotels near the beach. Apart from this, the oyster market has established for tourists. The Burmese Market has developed with foreign goods coming from countries such as Myanmar (formerly Burma), Thailand, China along the border. Here is the only fee aquarium in the country.

    There are also parasailing, water biking, beach biking, Cox Carnival Circus Show, Daria Nagar EcoPark, numerous architecture, futures park, child park, and multiple photoshoot spots commissioned by Coxs Bazar Development Authority. There are more at Teknaf Geological Park. Here is the Night Beach Concert to enjoy. There is also the opportunity to enjoy the beach at night as the beach illuminated with lighting.

    Here, Cox’s Bazar Development Authority is the largest sea-aquarium in the world. Cable Car and Disney Land. In Cox s Bazar, many families or ethnographic communities live, which made the city more diverse. The Chakma population is the leader of these tribes. The Buddhist Temple is the holy shrine of Buddhists in the city of cox Bazar and the vicinity of Ramu.

    The temple in cox Bazar contains some rare Buddhist statues. These temples and idols are one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bangladesh.
