History

Location

Cox’s Bazar located 152 km south of Chittagong city. Its distance from Dhaka is 414 km. It is the largest tourist place in Bangladesh. It can be accessed by road and sky from the country’s capital, Dhaka.

A project to set up a railway from Chittagong to Cox’s Bazar is underway. It expected that direct trains would start from Dhaka by 2022.

Tourist attraction

In Cox s Bazar, many families or ethnographic communities live, which made the city more diverse. The Chakma population is the leader of these tribes. The Buddhist Temple is the holy shrine of Buddhists in the city of cox Bazar and the vicinity of Ramu.

The temple in cox Bazar contains some rare Buddhist statues. These temples and idols are one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bangladesh.
