    Description of Tehari

    Tehari is an old Dhaka food. It is trendy in old Dhaka. Tehari cooks at any wedding, ceremony, anniversary or birthday. Earlier in the day, we were dependent on the chef for this kind of cooking. But nowadays it is no need for a chef. We also now cook tehari in our own house. With a few ingredients, I will show you the taste of the dish, keeping the flavor intact. This tehari is very easy to cook and can cook very quickly. I’ll give you a beef salad recipe today. However, if you prefer, it is usually beef with cucumber or chicken.
    Let’s take a look at the ingredients required to make the recipe of Tehari Cooking: –

    Ingredients of Tehari

    • Beef – 1 kg.
    • Polao rice – half a kg or 2 cups.
    • Onion sliced – 3 cups.
    • Ginger paste – 1 tsp.
    • Garlic paste – 1 tsp.
    • Yogurt – Half cup.
    • Garam masala powder – 1 tablespoon.
    • (Cardamom- 5/6 pieces, cinnamon – 2pieces, nutmeg huff, Mec- 2 pieces, white pepper – 1 teaspoon grind
    • together in a grinder).
    • Bay leaves – 2/3 pieces.
    • Oil – 1 cup+ 2 tbsp.
    • Salt – as required
    • green chili-5/6 pieces.
    • In just two steps, I will show you how to cook it.

    First step:

    First, on the Chula with a high flame. Take a frying pan. Heat it with oil. When the oil is hot, it should lightly brown with sliced onion. After the onions brown. Pour it to washed meat and cook it with the high flame for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes the water can be released from the meat.

    Then add ginger garlic paste, yogurt, garam masala powder, and salt. Cook it for another five minutes. After 5 minutes, add 2 cups hot water and cover it with a lid, For 20 minutes. The heat of the Chula will be medium. After 20 minutes, open the lid and see if the meat has boiled. Once boiled, the water should be dried.

    Second step:

    Wash the rice in a container and drained it well. Take a large pot and place it in the Chula. On the Chula and heated with oil. Once the oil is heated, you should stir it with polao rice for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, when the rice fries well, then pour the cooked meat in it and stir again. Then double the amount of rice to be mixed with hot water. Add green chilis, and salt is according to the taste.

    When The amount of water and rice should be equal, then cover with the lid, For 20 minutes. The oven should low at this stage. There is something very gentle to cook. Open the lid for 20 minutes, shake it down and then serve. It is easy to cook without hassle at this very quick. The taste is mouthwatering and delicious.
