Some people love going to the gym. Some enjoy finding healthy recipes to eat. Yet, although these things are important (or rather, exercise and eating well are important, it doesn’t have to be the gym and it doesn’t have to be making food from scratch), there are other very simple things you can do to be healthier in your day-to-day life. Try some of these out and see how much better you feel.

Put Your Linens In The Laundry

How often do you wash your bed linens? If it’s not very often (if they have been on your bed for more than a week, in other words), then you are putting yourself at risk of ill health, especially if you suffer from allergies and take regular medication from Chemist Click.

Dust mites breed quickly, and they tend to live on unwashed fabrics in the home. That means that if you don’t wash and change your bedding regularly, you might be going to sleep surrounded by the creatures. They can trigger allergies as mentioned above, so it’s not a good way to stay healthy.

    Silence Your Phone

The sound of a cell phone buzzing and beeping or signifying notifications in any other way is ubiquitous and a lot of the time, we’re so used to hearing these sounds that we barely even notice them. If that’s the case, there doesn’t seem to be much point in having them switched on – a vibration will do the job just as well, and it will be better for your health.

The noises that a smartphone makes can be stressful and cause anxiety, even if we don’t realize it’s happening. Plus, if you have your phone near you at night (which should be avoided where possible), those same noises can affect your sleep. Switch your phone to silent and you’ll reduce stress and sleep better, both of which improve your health.

    Don’t Wear Underwear

Most of us are in the habit of putting on underwear when we get dressed. It’s just something we do, and the main reason is for aesthetic and cleanliness reasons. Wearing underwear offers us a layer of protection between potentially coarser fabrics and our more sensitive areas.

However, sometimes it’s good not to wear underwear, as this can be better for our health. Having underwear on in hot weather, for example, can mean that we sweat a lot, and that can lead to bladder infections as well as yeast growth, which leads to thrush. Try not wearing underwear when you don’t have to go anywhere if it makes you worried; lounging around the house is a great way to get started with improving this area of your health.

    Lower The Volume

Listening to music is a good way to relax, and relaxation is a good way to stay healthy. Therefore, you don’t want to undo the good you’re doing for your health by having the volume of that music up too loud, especially if you’re wearing headphones or earbuds.

Ideally, you should keep your volume levels at under sixty percent, and if you are using headphones or earbuds, take a twenty-minute break every hour.
